Privacy Policy
Short version: the timestamps and dates you convert never leave your device. We run no accounts, set no cookies, and have no database of your conversions — because the tools do not need one.

What we do not collect
- Your conversions. Every tool on this site — the converter, timezone comparison, batch converter and calculator — runs entirely in your browser. The values you type are processed by JavaScript on your device and are never transmitted to us.
- Accounts and profiles. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no name, email address or password stored anywhere.
- Cookies. We do not set any cookies, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.
What is processed when you visit
Like any website, timestampunix.com is delivered over the internet, which involves some unavoidable technical processing:
- Hosting and delivery. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps) as a data processor in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. This is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy policy and retention limits.
- Web fonts. Pages load the Geist typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files, your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. If you block third-party font requests, the site falls back to system fonts and remains fully functional.
- Shareable links. If you use the Share button, the timestamp, unit and timezone are placed in the URL of your browser (for example
?timestamp=1758000000). That URL is only sent to our servers if you load or share it yourself — treat shared links like any other content you choose to publish.
Local storage
Today the site stores nothing in your browser's local storage — every visit starts clean. If we later add optional local conveniences such as a conversion history, that data will live only on your device, will never be transmitted to us, and will be removable by clearing site data in your browser settings.
Children
The site is a general-audience developer tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we later add privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which tools are useful — we will update this page and revise the date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will be described plainly here, not buried.
